Smart Recipient Management
One recipient system across every corridor. Save a recipient once, reuse them for Internal, SEPA, SWIFT, and every local transfer, with the right fields and the right checks every time.
Every corridor, one recipient system
Add, search, edit, and reuse recipients, with the exact fields and checks each corridor requires.
One list, every corridor
Internal, SEPA, SWIFT, UK Faster Payment, Crypto, and every local corridor, in one Recipients tab.
Matched to the contract
Only payment methods and accounts the contract actually supports are offered.
Save as you send
Save a recipient right from the confirm step of any payment, no separate setup needed.
Smart reuse across currencies
Using a saved recipient in a new currency extends it automatically, without creating a visible duplicate.
Edit safely
Editing runs the same checks as creating a new recipient, so details never go stale unnoticed.
Searchable and sorted
Find any recipient by name, with the ones used most recently shown first.
From choosing a method to a saved recipient
Choose method and account
Only options the contract supports are shown.
Enter recipient details
Validated the same way as the underlying payment method.
Country and eligibility checks
SWIFT recipients are checked against restricted countries.
Recipient saved
Added to the list, ready to search and reuse.
Selected automatically
The new recipient is chosen for you, ready to send.
Every recipient carries exactly what its corridor needs
A UK recipient shows a sort code. A SWIFT recipient shows IBAN, BIC, and intermediary bank details when relevant. No generic, one-size-fits-all recipient record.
- Fields and validation match each payment method’s own requirements
- SWIFT recipients include intermediary bank details when present
- Destination and intermediary bank countries are checked against restrictions
- Crypto recipients carry a wallet address, label, network, and currency
Recipients shown the way each platform works best
Search, add, or remove a recipient right from the Send Money form. On web, every recipient type sits in one searchable list; on mobile, the list is filtered by the currency of the account a customer is sending from.
- Web: every recipient type available in a single, searchable list
- Mobile: filtered automatically by the sending account’s currency
- SWIFT recipients remain visible across every currency, on both platforms
- Recently used recipients always appear first
One recipient system instead of one per corridor
Without unified recipient management
- Separate recipient lists per payment method
- Re-entering full bank details for a recipient used before
- No automatic handling when a recipient’s currency doesn’t match the account
- Stale or duplicate recipient records over time
With FinHost
- One recipient list spanning every corridor
- Save a recipient once, reuse it everywhere it applies
- Automatic, duplicate-free extension across currencies
- Consistent validation every time a recipient is created or edited
From first payment to a saved, reusable recipient
Send a payment
To a new recipient, any corridor.
Save as a recipient
One checkbox on the confirm step.
Find them later
Search by name, sorted by last used.
Send again
Just amount and reference this time.
Edit or remove
Anytime, with the same checks as creation.
Consistent rules, however a recipient is used
Only payment methods and accounts the contract actually supports are ever offered.
SWIFT recipients are checked against restricted destination, recipient, and intermediary bank countries.
Reusing a recipient in a new currency extends it automatically, without cluttering the list.
Smart Recipient Management
Can I save a recipient without sending them money first?
Yes. Recipients can be added directly from the Recipients tab on the Send Money page, or saved from the confirm step of a payment you’re already making.
What happens if I use a saved recipient with a different currency account?
FinHost checks whether the recipient can receive funds in that currency and extends the recipient automatically if so, without creating a duplicate you’d need to manage.
Can the same person be saved as more than one recipient?
Yes, if they’re added through different methods, such as by phone number and by email for an internal transfer. Reusing the same details doesn’t create a duplicate.
How do I edit a recipient’s details?
Editing a recipient runs the same checks as creating a new one, so the updated details are always validated before they’re saved.
Are recipients the same on web and mobile?
The full recipient list is available on both. On mobile, the list shown when sending money is filtered by the currency of the account you’re sending from; on web, every recipient type is available in a single list.
What if I delete a recipient by mistake?
A deleted recipient no longer appears in your list. To use them again, you’ll need to add them as a new recipient.
